First Lady Sheila D. Benjamin Henley
An insightful speaker and teacher of the word of God, she is intentional and practical in her approach with her own deliberate style of teaching, she draws comprehensively from her years of experience of developing children in a daycare/learning center and later at the University Of Charlotte North Carolina Department Of Engineering.
First Lady She loves being around children and teaching God’s Word in a sensible yet powerful manner. Lady Sheila possesses the rare ability to reach and stir her audiences as she works to keep God’s Word pertinent and concrete to ordinary life issues. She is the Director of New Beginning Women’s Ministry, Children’s Tuesday Night Bible Study and has developed a women’s bible study each 3rd Sunday immediately after the worship celebration.
Lady Henley is an inspiration to all who meet her, she provides comfort to hurting women and gives direction to all those who are seeking a relationship with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. She is a breast cancer survivor (1999) and a supporter of the cancer society.
She has an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Saint Leo University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Bethany Bible College, Dothan, AL.
She and her husband, Pastor Eric A. Henley L., are the proud parents of three children, together, they lead flock of New Beginning Community Christian Church, Savannah, Georgia.
She’s a dog lover, she owns 5 miniature and toy poodles, four boys and one girl. Lady Henley is the youngest of 5 siblings, born to the late Thelma C. Benjamin.
