ABOUT US
The vision of New Beginning Community Christian Church is to preach the life-changing message of Jesus Christ in a simplistic, yet powerful manner, to radically change lives. We shall fulfill the great commission, (Matthew 28:18-20) through our worship services, community development and economic ministries.
We are a friendly and loving Church that helps people find their way to Jesus Christ. Our services will create a dynamic high praise and worship atmosphere, where the power of the Word and Holy Spirit will change ordinary people into extraordinary examples of God’s grace and power; ultimately transforming entire families and communities.
Community development ministries will be established to assist the elderly, adults and at risk youths with mentoring programs, tutorial programs and life-skills training. Elderly care centers and child daycare centers will also be established. Our Multi-Cultural Ministry will reach out to all races, nationalities, and ethnic groups. We will serve as a center to offer Christian counseling services, food pantries and transitional housing for the abused and those who are suffering. Initially, we will purchase and remodel homes to meet these needs. Ultimately, we shall build affordable housing and construct a modern Family Life Center with facilities to minister to the entire family.
Economic development will be used to educate and empower members to become better stewards of their finances; taking entrepreneurial approaches to owning their own homes and businesses. The Church will model these principles as it develops strong economic associations, purchase additional lands and properties to increase the goal of furthering the gospel, becoming one church with multiple new ministries.
Our Community
At New Beginning Community Christian Church, we believe that God has not only called us to the gathering of the saints and the ministering of the word, but to also reach out to the local community wherever the Lord may lead us. Every 5th Sunday, we take the Gospel to the community.
Our Beliefs
WE BELIEVE that there is one living and true God, eternal existing in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory. That this same God created all, upholds all and governs all.
WE BELIEVE in God the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe that he hears and answers prayer, and that he saves from sin and death all who come to him through Jesus Christ
WE BELIEVE in Jesus Christ, that he is God the Son, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit: that Jesus died on the cross in fulfillment of prophecy to atone for the sin of the world. He is the only Lamb of God through whom we obtain forgiveness of our sin; apart from Him there is no other way to the Father.
WE BELIEVE in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings, substitutionary death on the cross and resurrection from the dead on the third day, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and His visible return to earth.
WE BELIEVE in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment and to regenerate sanctify and empower for ministry all who believe in Christ.
WE BELIEVE the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding helper, teacher and guide.
WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and the exercise of all the biblical gifts of the Spirit.
WE BELIEVE that the scriptures of the old and new testaments are the infallible rule of faith and practice.
WE BELIEVE that all are sinners by nature & choice, therefore under condemnation; that God regenerates by the Holy Spirit those who repent of their sins & confess Jesus Christ as Lord; that Jesus Christ baptizes the seeking believer with the Holy Spirit & empowers for service, often subsequent to regeneration.
WE BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ committed two ordinances to the church: *Baptism & the Lord’s Supper. We believe in baptism by immersion & communion, open to all believers.
*WE DO NOT BELIEVE in baptismal regeneration. The clear teaching in the light of Scripture is that we are saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
WE BELIEVE the laying on of hands for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, or ordination of pastors, elders and deacons and for receiving gifts of the Spirit & healing.
WE BELIEVE in the personal, visible (second) return of Christ to earth & the establishment of His Kingdom: in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment & eternal blessing of the righteous & endless suffering of the wicked.
WE BELIEVE that there will be a time of great tribulation known as Jacob’s Trouble in which God will deal directly again with the nation Israel & before which time the church will.
