With Survivors, Always.
New Beginning Community Christian Church believes every person deserves to live with safety, dignity, and respect. Domestic violence can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, background, or faith.
Recognizing the Signs
Domestic abuse is not always physical. It may include:
- Controlling a person’s money or access to resources.
- Monitoring their phone, location, or communications.
- Isolating them from family and friends.
- Threatening, intimidating, humiliating, or repeatedly putting them down.
- Physical harm, sexual coercion, or threats of harm.
Abuse is never the victim’s fault.
A Message of Hope
If you are experiencing abuse, you are not alone. You deserve support, safety, and respect. Asking for help is not a failure of faith. You deserve to be heard with compassion and without judgment.
“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18 (NIV)
