- One letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or mentor
- Proof of college acceptance or intent to apply
2. Golden Moments (Thelma Clifton-Benjamin Golden) Scholarship

- Purpose: Support for first-time homebuyers in the community
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a first-time homebuyer
- Resident of the local community served by NBCDC
- Actively working with a licensed real estate agent and/or in the process of mortgage pre-approval
- Demonstrates financial readiness and a clear housing plan
- Must submit:
- Completed application
- Statement of intent (300–500 words) detailing why homeownership is important
- Proof of first-time homebuyer status
- Documentation of housing progress (e.g., pre-approval letter, realtor letter)
3. Samuel Hicks & Blue Boy (Rickey Blue Daughtry) Scholarship

- Award Amount: $2,500 annually
- Purpose: In honor of volunteer recreational coaches
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be an active volunteer coach at the recreational level (youth or community sports)
- Cannot receive a salary for coaching duties
- Demonstrates consistent service and positive impact on youth through sports
- Must submit:

- Letter of recommendation from recreation staff, parent, or league organizer
- Statement (300 words) about their passion for coaching and community service
- Proof of coaching involvement (e.g., team roster, photos, or program listing)
4. Evelyn Caldwell Scholarship
- Award Amount: $2,000 annually
- Purpose: Celebrates members who serve in music ministry with humility and love
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be an active choir or music ministry member of New Beginning Community Christian Church
- Known for being supportive, dependable, and uplifting within the ministry
- Demonstrates a spirit of unity, encouragement, and servant-leadership
- Must be nominated by a peer or ministry leader
- Must submit:
- Completed nomination form
- Two written endorsements from choir/musical peers or leadership
- Short reflection from the nominee about their role in the ministry
5. Pastor Rickey Breadie Widows Grant

- Purpose: Provide financial relief and encouragement to widows in the community

- Must be a widow residing in the local community
